Reduce Plastic Waste
I pledge to be mindful of the plastic waste I produce, and to make a conscious effort to reduce my impact on our oceans, lakes, and rivers by making and consuming bar soap as an alternative to liquid products in single-use plastic. I will recycle or repurpose my plastic waste to help protect the world around me.
Riverside Soap Studio has taken the pledge to reduce plastic waste.
In 2019, as a first step toward helping our environment, I began packaging all soap in biolefin, a food-grade, acid-free, oxo-biodegradable shrink film.
In 2020, I began making solid shampoo bars to help eliminate the huge volume of plastic bottles that get thrown away and end up in landfills.
